There was many eras in Egypt including Pharaonic Egypt, followed by Persian Egypt, and then the Ptolemies followed by the Romans. Great history that left its impact all over Egypt and the world is still amazed by its antiquities.

If you ever felt there was a decision should be made long time ago and who should make it didn t make it , it means with no doubts that its not taken because it didn t help in a certain way. Egypt went through very tough economic decision in the last 5 years and president Sisi keep telling Egyptian I can t increase your salaries because he claimed that he doesn t enough budget to increase salaries. Suddenly on March 29th, Sisi decided to increase all salaries for all governmental employee and he still didn t explain to us from he could find a budget for this increase suddenly especially with the amendments in the constitution that the parliament discuss for now. In conclusion, No doubt that every citizen needs this increase especially that inflation in Egypt reached its highest rates in decades, however, presidents of Egypt always just give when they need something.

The tragic accident that killed nearly fifty people in New Zealand is a humanitarian disaster by all means. Nobody can accept it, especially Christians, since such attack can only be driven by evil. The assailant being a Muslim who belong to ISIS in Turkey, or a racist atheist who declared his faith in the 73 pages published on his account on Facebook, can t belong to Christianity. If Muslims declare that ISIS don t represent Islam, how can a man who doesn t belong to Christianity represent it.

Sarah Mansour is an Egyptian Oil Engineer who was graduated from the Pioneer School in 2006 before she achieved her dream of being an oil engineer. Pope Shenouda III was a source of inspiration for Egyptian Copts with his prestige, courage, firmness and determination. He was an outstanding wise man whose knowledge was impressive. Moreover, he was funny and long suffering as well as very sensitive. During his period, the Church faced many conflicts and problems, but he treated them with wisdom and could manage the situation with the least amount of losses. His Holiness was stronger than all the events and all tribulations that descended upon the Church. During his time, the Church was stable and peaceful. Pope Shenouda was a brilliant politician who knew how and when to oppose and how to speak. His weekly sermon was expected every week by his beloved congregation. At certain time, he decided to lock himself in the monastery to pray, which raised the anger of President Sadat. His relationship with President Mubarak was good and based on common interests, whether political or religious. Pope Shenouda left his troubles to be carried by his successor Pope Tawadros, may God help him to bear such great burden, troubles and unrest.

All religions, messengers and prophets agreed that peace is a constant of religions since they aim to achieve peace and security and to prevent all terrorism and violence. Throughout history, terrorism has used religion to cover its ugly face, which led to conflicts and wars and caused human tragedies all over the world. Peace is agreement, tolerance, coexistence, harmony and stability on local or international scale. It is a desirable situation that countries hold treaties in order to achieve peace.

The rule of law in our country means that the law is applied equally on the citizens. This law states that a wife can t get married to two people at once. In that case, she will be accused of adultery and getting married to two people. This is the case when the husband is a Muslim man, but when he is a Coptic Christian man, then the case is different. The Christian woman in our story decided to abandon her husband and her children and get married to a Muslim man. Sectarian clashes are expected this time after a Muslim man and his wife who converted into Islam decided to return to the village and dwell in the house next to her family. 7 Coptic families in the village left their homes fearing potential attacks of the extremists, after her conversion was celebrated and praised by the extremists who enjoy taking pride in such conversion and insulted her family and their faith. Today, her father sent a letter to president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi asking him to prevent the return of his daughter, which is expected to ignite serious clashes. It is known that the situation in Upper Egypt and especially in Minya is not that good since we hear every now and then about some clashes between Muslims and Christians. Minya is a place where Coptic homes are attacked over rumors of romantic relationship between a Coptic man and a Muslim woman. Extremists break into houses and destroy them over rumors about turning it into churches. It also witnessed the very first demonstration refusing to appoint a Coptic governor. Now, we can’t expect the people to have such unprecedented tolerance and accept having their daughter staying in the home of a Muslim man agains their will, and reply with a smile on those who try to provoke them and mock them for such sensitive case which is taken as honor issue in that community.

On the other side of the world, people with Wahbi ideologies decided to do their best to destroy the celebration by claiming that Rami and his movie is trying to promote homosexuality and destory the morals of the youth of the Arab world. Members of the House of Representatives and media presenters adopted that conspiracy theory, but other illuminated people invited the Oscars winner to visit Egypt to promote tourism. Human Rights Watch said that the Egyptian authorities celebrates Ramy Malek, but can t show the film in Egyptian theaters without deduction of several scenes. It added that Mercury would have been sent to jail in Egypt according to the fight against immorality and debauchery just like 76 people were imprisoned last year. It should be known that art is used to deliver messages and make change, and many Egyptian actors appeared in movies as terrorists, gays, drug dealers, and harlots, but they have never been accused of inciting any of that. However, they may think that art aims to spread religion just like they linked the success of Muhamed Salah in football to his religion!

Egypt in my opinion will not have stability and development in all aspects of life before we face these three challenges: Terrorism, corruption and negligence. We shall begin with political reconciliation and the reunification of all Egyptians on the basis of citizenship, renunciation of violence, respect for law and the court of justice. The Egyptians have borne the difficult economic reforms, calls for the renewal of religious discourse and coexistence, and the empowerment and support of women, youth and Christians. However, the whole world is talking about serious abuses and violations that are documented by reports and testimonies. We continue to deny and reject all advice and call this our culture and traditions, which are different from the Western world!
