While I’m browsing Facebook, I read a story about a woman that went to Tahrir Square in the anniversary of the 25th revolution. She was demonstrating against Sisi and the interior ministry. When I read more I found out that this woman belongs to Muslims Brotherhood and she demonstrate against Sisi and interior ministry because her husband and her son died in “El-Nahda Square†after the army forced The ex-president Morsi to step Down after the demonstrations of June 30th 2013.
In my country, we hide and deny everything we think is bad for the country and disturbing for the people. We hate everything that disturbs the public peace. There is some kind of overseer to prevent some news and reject some laws, but when it comes to clean the country, other people has to toil to do the job. Yet, we don’t want to annoy anybody since we seek stability. Many crimes are committed in the name of stability. Former presidential election was forged to bring Morsy in power. Publication ban is used to hide the truth in several cases before the court.
After the Coptic Orthodox Church in Minya refused to pray for the bodies of a Coptic bride and groom who died of gas leakage in Minya governorate, northern Cairo, many people attacked the church accusing her of hatred for other Christians. I believe that there is no intercession for the dead by such prayers, but only offering condolences to the family of the dead person. The people accusing the church of hatred for this reason know that the church has rules and traditions. Those people are willing to incite against the church by all means.
The white coup by the Egyptian officers in 1952 came in coordination with Wahhabism religious leaders in the region to take control of the Middle East. The Saudi regime planned to topple all kings in the region starting with King Farouk who had the best army. They were planning that the Saudi king will rule all Arab countries. Those officers fell in the Saudi trap of cooperation with Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow the regime. It incited discord among the Egyptian people until the officers took over power as well as money of the rich people. The Parliament was then divided between workers and peasants without taking into consideration the qualifications of those representing the people and would affect the future of Egypt.
The Egyptian president was really worried when he knew about the kidnapped 20 Egyptians in Libya by the forces of evil that hates Egypt. He worked very hard and quietly with all state institutions in order to liberate them. It was great success to return them safe to Egypt. President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi sent an important message to the whole world saying that Egypt doesn’t neglect her children as was the case in the past. The message assured that Egypt works hard to save any Egyptian and anywhere. It became a matter of acts and not only slogans.
January 25th is just mere days away. Emotions are running high. I feel as though people are panicking for what fate awaits them in just a few days. I'm not sure if the air is tense with protestors brewing and ready to oust the current president, Sisi, or if the tension is coming from those who are anxious and desperately want peace in the land. Either way, the anxiety amongst all the people is almost palpable. It is as if there is some kind of force entering people's homes and creating this uneasiness all around. What I can say is, I hope that all that comes with the 25th is a memorial for all the lives that were lost, and a celebration for the new found steps made towards Egypt progressing in a positive way.
Egyptian media published the story of Dina Ovadia that Egypt revoked her citizenship because she joined the IDF. Egyptian media that accused her of causing shame to the Egyptian societies after joining the army of the Zionist entity just ignored the shame that led her out of Egypt. They didn’t realize that this provided a legal precedent for revoking citizenship for any Egyptian who joins the Army of a foreign country. This should change the plans of Saudi Arabia that has been seeking to recruit young Egyptians to fight Iran.
Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Minister of Local Development, said the government recognizes the negligence in engineering departments in the local councils. Notice that he didn’t talk about corruption in the local councils. He rather mentioned negligence than corruption. In fact, I believe that Dr. Badr should make a revolution in the local councils. However, we still see violating buildings that were visited by officials and they get electricity from the government. The biggest problem facing municipal councils is the garbage and how to get rid of it or recycle it.
After the first procedural session of the Egyptian parliament was aired on TV, I made sure that the democracy of illiteracy has brought MPs who are non-eligible to represent the people in the House of Representatives. Their behavior, words and deeds proved they only seek personal interests and benefits, which does not fit the critical moment at all, during which we face several conspiracies and make desperate efforts to reconstruct the country. Our homeland needs our unity and efforts. Therefore, the Parliament has to cooperate with all state institutions for the good of Egypt.
El-Watan Egyptian newspaper published an article about organizing a trip by the Coptic church to visit Jerusalem. It said that the southern United States Diocese announced to organize such trip for the Copts living in the United States of America to visit the holy places in Jerusalem and Egypt from 3 to 20 May, 2016. The newspaper said that such trip has been organized several times in violation of the decisions of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church to ban such visits of the Copts. It added that this came after Pope Tawadros II visited Jerusalem to attend the funeral of Abba Abraham, Bishop of the holy land, and sent a delegation to attend the forty-day memorial service of the late bishop.
Antigua one of the homes that hasted me when I left my Real Home Egypt. For many people no to say names dual Nationality means no loyalty to your original Nationality; Now this could be right for many people but for me it is meaningless when I lived for many years in France and have relatives of French Nationality and met French people who treated me like a French guy no discrimination or being looked at me as a stranger, but they all looked at me as a person who lives with them they helped me they offered me free rides when I was walking in deserted areas no transportations and means of transport, how can I deny their welcome to me? I look at France as a second HOME! I was in Greece lived there and have real relatives who live there I'm ½ Greek Greece is my home country too! I lived in Antigua my best years of productivity, within Family and friends that nominated me as "More Black that Black people!" yes when I newly arrived to Antigua with years and years of discrimination from white people to Black people, any non Black fellow –like me- was the enemy that Antiguans hated; My position as a manager means I have to be the judge between any two workers both black but one of them was right in his cause, the wrong one means a new enemy to me –I was not at war with anyone they were or thought they were at war with me!- it took me years and years doing my job regardless of the bad side feelings I caused trying to be fair with everyone and until they finally saw the true me!
While we are close to completing the first month since the first session for the Egyptian parliament, we have to evaluate and think about what this parliament will do and what the will achieve for the next 4 years? We muust also ask ourselves the question: will this parliament be able to face the challenges that Egypt is currently facing? Will this Parliament be organized and be able to be beneficial for Egyptians? The first feature I can notice about this parliament is that it has no outstanding character or as we would say, it doesn’t have a leader or majority that can lead the vote with or against the bills that the parliament supposed to discuss in the coming months.
There is no doubt that recent American presidents are getting from bad to worse. I don’t think they work for the benefit of their country, but according to their arrogance and lack of understanding. They thought they are able to change the reality of many countries. However, they failed and clashed with many people and countries. America has lost all its allies in the Middle East, including Egypt, during the past 16 years. It supported the Muslim Brotherhood and lost Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Emirates. In contrast, America chose to support its relations with Turkey, Qatar, and Israel.
I spoke in a previous article about the regulations of personal status of non-Muslims, especially the Coptic Christians. They only accept divorce for reasons related to committing adultery. Another regulation was issued in 2008 by General Congregation Council headed by Pope Shenouda III. The regulation presented new causes of divorce including what was considered signs of committing adultery. This regulation canceled others that were permitting divorce in the courts for reasons other than committing adultery like being absent for more than 5 years without knowing if the spouse is dead or alive, or harming the spouse physically, or the spouse can’t stand the other party anymore and are already abandoned her or him for more than three years.
Many Copts criticize church leaders through many websites and media, especially when it comes to financial and administrative affairs. They have the right to criticize for the sake of reform, not to distort the reputation of others. Those people couldn’t reach Pope Tawadros and their voices were not heard since secretaries of the Pope don’t deliver such messages to the Pope or they underestimate problems of the people.
For the second year, the President headed to the great Cathedral in Abbassia to congratulate Christians on Christmas. Al-Sisi made a historic visit to the church to congratulate Coptic Christians on their feast. Former presidents in Egypt had chances to be the first to do this, but it was God’s will that al-Sisi would be the first to visit a church at Christmas eve to congratulate the Coptic Christians on Christmas and to give example to the next presidents in Egypt.
I'll borrow the TV program -صور من الماضى- as recently while re-organizing my papers getting ready to travel again and again I fall on an old magazine dated 2005 them last elections Mubarak won or fabricated that is not my point but a title got my attention it was about youth their ambition and the government new target to make use of this unused potential! The government finally noticed young people need to work! Was this an electoral propaganda or really the people in charge then noticed the never ending problem of university graduates looking for a job forever, their dream post was a job in the government a secured post no one could dismiss the employee or fire him/her, worst case scenario was investigation for a serious offence and still no dismissal just a warning, and after several warnings for the same mistake there might be some kind of real punishment, and this in fact illustrates why it was the dream and why it was never fulfilled because the government was saturated and overloaded with people not doing their jobs and cannot be fired!
As we all know, just last Wednesday we all celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Midnight mass is always a time for celebration. Everyone comes excited for many reasons. Some of us dress up in our best clothes, some of us can't wait to take communion so we can eat some meat, all of us come ready to celebrate and event that happens once a year and is cherished in our hearts. Imagine you go to church praying, minding your own business, and suddenly out of nowhere or the president of your country comes to congratulate you on this special event. This is the second year in a row that President Sisi came to congratulate his Holiness Pope Tawadros ll jeering Christmas mass. He came and rallied up the congregation, and said a few nice words, while laughing and smiling with everyone. He even heard the congregation break out in cheers, rooting for him and showing their appreciation.
Before the monotheistic religions, people worshipped idols, animals, plants, sun and moon. They offered several offerings believing they are true gods. Today, several people are atheists who don’t recognize the existence of God at all. Other countries ban holy books of other religions that they don’t recognize and forbid building their houses of worship. In fact, so many gods were created by men and next are few examples: First: god of money since money has became the primary goal of all peoples who are enslaved to it rather than true God. Those people lost their values, customs and traditions and even became criminals. Even countries wage wars seeking this god.
Leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood stand before court of appeals after they were sentenced to death penalty for killing demonstrators before their headquarters in Mokattam. Therefore, I republish my article that I wrote on November 10, 2015. I said that Egyptian judiciary is a great one, but it takes very long time to issue verdicts. It takes years and years to achieve justice. This was clear during the trials of masters and leaders of terrorism of the Muslim Brotherhood. The evidence is crystal clear with several documents and videos for their crimes. However, two years have passed without final verdicts. Several verdicts of death penalty were not applied as well. This gives them great opportunity to conspire against Egypt putting greater pressure on her through the fifth column and the conspiratorial media!

First, I offer my sincere condolences to the martyrs who shed their pure blood as a result of the vicious terrorist act that targeted the Petrine Church in Cairo.
