Saudi regime is repeating the calls to jihad that were heard in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989. It presented 52 Saudi scholars in Syria to incite against the Red Army according to Arabia news website. Russians are not stupid and should have known that their military intervention in Syria against IS would annoy the Saudi regime and push it to call for jihad against Russia just like it did in Afghanistan. I guess he won’t as many indications point out that Sabahi won’t get more than 15% of the total votes. Knowing they won’t have place in the political scene under the regime of al-Sisi, the Muslim Brotherhood finds Hamdeen Sabahi a much better option, and therefore they may decide to support him.

A Coptic Christian friend told me that he used to work in the Eastern Province of the Saudi Arabia. He said that many times did he have to hide his faith in order to live in peace, especially when his colleagues started taking pride of their faith and curse the Jews and Christians. He had to fast during the holy month of Ramadan and ignore many insults to his faith. Furthermore, once he had to pray in a mosque with people cursing Christians and their faith in their prayers! In fact, he was lucky that his name didn’t reveal his real identity, or else he would have suffered even more.
