Coptic Churches: We wait for Mursy to fulfill his promises

Coptic Churches has asked the Egyptian president Mohammed Mursy to fulfill his electoral promises, adding they respect the will of the Egyptians.

Abba Besitny, bishop of Helwan, told Copts United that the church are asking for active citizenship and a civil state to grant the equality between all Egyptians.
 
He added that Copts are demanding the laws of unified worship houses, personal status, and criminalization of discrimination as well.
 
Dr. rev. Andrea Zaki, Vice-President of the Evangelical Sect, called everyone to concern about the future rather than that past. He added that Copts, as well as all Egyptians, demand a civil state and equality.
 
Abba Yohanna Kulta, Deputy Patriarch of the Coptic Catholic, pointed out to the statement of the Coptic Catholic church in which it expressed their respect for the results of the elections.
