Egypt denied media reports claimed that the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum flied to Iran to discuss the bilateral cooperation in oil field after Saudi Arabia has suspended the oil aid to Cairo, Youm7 reported on Monday.

Egyptian Petroleum Ministry Spokesperson Hamdi Abdel-Aziz said Minister Tarek El Molla filed to the AUE to participate in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2016.

Reuters reported that Traek El Molla “was on his way to Iramn Sunday” to strike a new oil deal after Saudi Arabia suspended its oil cargos to Egypt “until further notice.”
