I have spoken previously about poverty in Egypt and how the government deal with it by opulence and call the people to austerity. Today, I talk about how some international organizations see Egypt. World Bank data base indicates that the GDP of the Egyptian stock of hard currency reached $ 33.8 billion in 2015, putting Egypt in the 32 place of GDP. (World Development Indicators database, World Bank, 22 July 2016) This means that Egyptians is located in the medium-high income countries. Yet, the poverty in Egypt is because the rich receive the majority of income and are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer.

Karama libraries « Dignity » is an initiative carried out by «The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information» to create five public libraries in the popular neighborhoods of Cairo to encourage people to read for free. They believe that knowledge and education are key elements to develop countries. Awareness may enable people to learn about their rights and even claim them, but people in over populated areas are not able to read and develop their skills. The government decided to shut down the libraries instead of monitoring them and prevent illegal acts inside them. The government could run them or cooperate with its management to spread the idea all over Egypt. Yet, the government and police prefer to shut down libraries. They don’t really believe people have rights to read and learn for free. They don’t even believe they are key elements to develop Egypt. The government wants to prevent reading in order to keep the people ignorant.

Dr. Ahmed Darwish, head of Development Zone Authority of Suez Canal area, said that negotiations have been held with the Japanese company Toyota to pump investments in the economic are of Suez Canal. He added that a special port dedicated for cars will be created in East Port Said with the cooperation of many French and Japanese companies. Egypt was elected for a five-year term in the 34-member International Law Commission of the UN General Assembly on Friday. I don’t like revolutions or changing of regimes since the alternative will be no better. However, I was hoping we will have peaceful protests on November 11th to express our rejection of the recent economic measures taken by the Egyptian government including the loans and projects. We have to express our rejection for such political and economical practices. This has not happened and therefore, the government is allowed to move from failure to failure and from crisis to another since it knows that the people will accept those practices and will never object.

The success of this man and many countries that seek his advises proves that we lost this man when he was removed from the office of minister of finance. Unfortunately, our bad economic situation proves this idea.

He decided to follow his humanity rather than his previous thoughts. Santos is trying to convince his people and even his opponents, including the previous Colombian president to accept the peace treaty that should bless Colombia with a long period of peace.

The Egyptian media has failed several times to cover many events like the visit of the Egyptian president to Hillary Clinton. It only published the statement of the presidency. Egyptian media ignored statement of Hillary Clinton in which she called to release Aya Hijazi and respect freedoms in Egypt. Egyptian media thought that half of truth is more than enough. However, this is failure of our media since it didn’t report the full truth and ignores half of it.

I don’t talk here about the reaction of the church when choosing to accept the new law of building churches. I’d rather talk about the role of the person or organization that knows how to play politics.
