Two years have passed after the revolution of June 30, and 16 months since General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi took power in Egypt. Yet, with the approach of the Parliamentary election, I find myself for the first time in my life not interested in them. I have always participated in the elections and encouraged the others to participate even when I traveled to Paris. However, this time I don’t really care! I don’t want to know about the candidates or the schedule of the elections. I have no desire to participate or encourage the others to participate.

In the early twentieth century, the great liberal man Ahmad Lutfi al-Sayed, run for the parliamentary elections. However he didn't need so much effort to win the elections; his enemies decided to defame him claiming he is a democratic man who left Islam and embraced the Western democracy that promotes freedoms and pornography. The ignorant people asked Lutfi al-Sayed: Are you democratic? Of course, I am, said he. This simple answer was more than enough to burn his electoral platform and cause him great loss. This story happened in Egypt several times as the ignorant people are being manipulated to achieve certain goals.

Al-Ahram state journal published news about 35 Copts arrested for demonstrating against kidnapping a Coptic woman. The great newspaper misspelled the news saying that they are from Assiut instead of Minya. However, nobody cared for them.Those poor Copts were trying to defend their honor, which was violated by one of the terrorists who kidnapped Coptic women from her husband and four children. Those Copts expected better treatment from the state after they sacrificed their lives, churches and properties for their country during and after the revolution of June 30.

Judge Said Youssef Mohammed, head of Minya Criminal Court, has sentenced 528 defendants who belong to the Muslim Brotherhood to death penalty. Egypt's Mofty has approved, according to the Egyptian law, to sentence only 37 to death penalty for killing police officers and destroying Matay police station.

During the eighties, I was studying at Cairo University and staying at the campus. At that time, my colleagues and I used to care about the public facilities as if they belongs to us. Now, students who belong to the Muslim Brotherhood unfortunately are doing exactly the opposite as they destroy the public facilities and universities. They may have an excuse to attack a police car where a tear gas was launched, but they don’t have any excuses to burn their university or use weapons to kill their colleagues in order to accuse police of killing them.

I do not support reconciliation with a terrorist group like the Muslim Brotherhood, especially as it proved it is willing to destroy the homeland for some personal benefits. Furthermore, I am not Jesus Christ to say: "whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."

The fact that June has always brought the shame of the Egyptian setback in 1967 is about to change. This month is going to bring pride of victory after we get rid of the Muslim Brotherhood's occupation. The Egyptians are going to correct the path, restore the revolution and make its slogans come true including freedom and social justice

It's known that Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a smart politician who came to power after many Islamic leaders including Necmettin Erbakan failed to overthrow the secular regime in Turkey. However, his disciple Erdogan has learnt the lesson and took several steps that enabled him to apply their Islamic vision in Turkey.

Copts and Muslims in Paris organized a demonstration on April 12th against killing innocent Christians in Khosous as well as attacking the Great Cathedral of St. Mark. However, some young Coptic Christians didn't like some cheers of unity among all Egyptians, Muslims and Christians. So, I need here to point out to some facts concerning the Coptic issue.

MB rule in Egypt is such a great loss, and continual distress as well as suffering. I have three thoughts about the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. First, about building churches: Abba Markos, bishop of Shubra al-Khaimah said, commenting on attacking St. Macarius Church by Salafis, that there are no churches built during Morsy's presidency.

Nominating General Omar Suleiman for the presidency had a huge feedback, some people have deprecated and others have welcomed. The Islamic movement rejected it as the nomination of the general will destroy their plans to control Egypt. New parties and movements have agreed with the Islamic movements as they think that if Omar wins, it would be an end for the revolution and a new start for the former regime.

A lot of people use the term “State of MB General Guide” in their writings and conversations, either to make jokes about the religious state that Islamists dream of, or to warn people about that state. Others use this expression to indicate the principle of blind obedience, which every member of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) is adhered to.
