Gen. Abdel Fattah Sisi, General Guide of the Armed Forces, has announced in a statement that Morsy is overthrown. This came in response to the demands of millions of Egyptians who demonstrated to overthrow President Morsy and his regime calling for an early presidential elections.
The Armed Forces has given chances to the political parties to sit and converse, however, the presidency has always refused causing more division and chaos among the Egyptians.
The statement presented a road map in which the Constitution will be amended, and the head of the Constitutional Court will be the acting president till a new president is elected for Egypt.
