Police coalition in Assiut has refused statements of the leader of the Islamic group in Assiut, in which he offers to convert their headquarters to police stations and take care of security in Assiut instead of the police.
Spokesperson of the coalition said that such statement made policemen angry as they are able to protect Assiut without getting such help of Jemaah Islamiyah.
