Dr. Amin Lotfi, Beni Suef University President, has ordered that Facebook should be prohibited within the campus claiming that it hinders the work in the university.
On the other hand, many employees in the university said that such decision comes in order to limit the demonstrations inside the university that uses Facebook to invite the students to participate in it.
It's worth mentioning that the University of Beni Suef has witnessed many demonstrations during the last academic year by both students and university employees
