Al-Aswani: Mursy will cancel the constitutional declaration and defend the rights of Copts

Writer and novelist Alaa al-Aswani said that he expects from President Mursy to fulfill his promises to cancel the constitutional declaration, defend the rights of the Copts, respect personal freedoms and respect the art.

Al-Aswani added in a tweet on twitter that President Mursy has one of two options: to make a deal with the Supreme Council of Armed Forces, or to depend on the people to support the revolution and free Egypt.

If he fulfill his promises, we will support him. And if not, we will oppose him to defend the revolution, al-Aswani added.
