Wael Saad, the disgraced monk of St. Makar monastery assured to his brother and his lawyer that he did not kill the bishop and his confessions to police came under pressures during the investigation.
He added that he was outside the monastery at the time of the murder of the bishop.
He added that he tried to commit suicide due to the pressures that were put on him during the investigation.
