CAIRO-Egypt will temporarily suspend the summertime system on the eve of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan expected to start on August 11, a Cabinet official has said.
The country will re-apply the summertime system on September 10, added Magdi Radi, the spokesman for the Cabinet. He added that the daylight saving system will remain in effect until September 30.
