Abba Maqar, Bishop of Sharqia and the 10th of Ramadan City, inaugurated last Saturday the alter and icons of the church of St. Demiana in Kafr Shenouda.
The church is the oldest in the diocese as it was built in 1817 under the reign of Pope Peter VII.
