Bishop Suriel of Melbourne received the order of Saint Ignatios 2017 during the annual celebration of the Academy of St. Ignatius Theological in Stockholm, in the presence of many church leaders led by Bishop Abakir Bishop of the Scandinavian countries and Dr. Michael Hjalm, Dean of the Academy.
In his speech, Bishop Suril talked about Archdeacon Habib Girgis and his achievements in the Coptic Orthodox Church during the twentieth century.
