A delegation from the National Council of American Churches visited the Egyptian president Abdul Fattah Al-sisi to show solidarity with Egypt against terrorism.
The meeting was attended by Sameh Shukri, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Rev. Dr. André Zaki, head of the Evangelical community in Egypt.
Alaa Yousuf, Spokesman for the Presidency, said that the President welcomed the delegation assuring that Egypt is working to raise values of equality, tolerance, citizenship and nondiscrimination based on religion. On the other hand, the delegation assured that American churches support Egypt in its war against terrorism.
