The Rev. Awad Flimoun, Priest of the Evangelical Church of the Faith in Alexandria, said that he has been trying for 7 years to obtain permission to rebuild the church after it was demolished.
He demanded Dr. Mohamed Sultan, governor of Alexandria, to respond and give him permission to rebuild the church.
The church was issued a license by Republican Decree No. 763 of 1975 from the late President Anwar Sadat, but in 2010 its walls cracked after building an adjacent house to the church.
