Roma Spalletti expects more; Salah praises Dzeko after 'important' Napoli win

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti praised his squad, including Egypt ace Mohamed Salah after a 3-1 win over Napoli in the Serie A on Saturday.

"Yes, it was a good game and a good victory but there are things that we can do better," Spalletti told the club's official website.

Ex-Manchester City striker, Bosnian Edin Dzeko scored just two minutes from half-time, completing his personal brace with a header nine minutes after the break.

"The guys nevertheless played some nice stuff and scored important goals against a top side," Spalletti added.

It was the fourth goal and the second assist of the season for former Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah, who also praised his teammates after the game, including Dzeko.

“Dzeko's a fantastic player and I like playing on the same team as him in training. He's gotten off to a superb start this year—he's already scored seven. He's a key player for us,” Salah said.

“It was really important to win today because it takes us above Napoli. Now we need to keep playing this well… We have a great team with great players and we want to win something."

The win took Roma to second place of the Serie A table on 16 points, two adrift of leaders and defending champions Juventus.
