Chairperson of the Social Justice Party Mahmoud Farghal Omran has filed a lawsuit before the Administrative Court, calling for suspension of implementing reconciliation deal between the government and fugitive business tycoon Hussein Salem.
Omran added that Salem paid “little” amount money for reconciliation comparing to his “real fortune.”
On August 2, Salem paid 5.7 billion EGP to reconcile with the government as he was charged with emblazing public money. The government has estimated his fortune at 7 billion EGP.
