Father Rafiq Grish, chairman of the Media Council's committee of churches of Egypt, denied the council has called for presidential pardon for Coptic children charged with defamation of Islam.
He added that the council doesn’t have something to do with politics and does not interfere in the affairs of the judiciary and does not comment on its provisions.
