The Secretariat of the Council of the Churches of Egypt held a meeting on Saturday, at the headquarters of the presidency of the Evangelical Church in Heliopolis, headed by Rev. Dr. Bishoy Helmy, Secretary General of the Council of the Churches of Egypt. After that, the Executive Committee of the Council held another meeting, to discuss achievement of each committee of the council.
Michael Victor, secretary of the Committee on Information, said that a press conference will be held on October 10 at the headquarters of the council to discuss activities of the council.
He added that churches shouldn’t mobilize the people to vote in favor of certain candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
