Church gives ecclesiastical penalty to 20 Copts for visiting Jerusalem as pilgrims

Coptic Orthodox Church has given an ecclesiastical penalty to 20 Copts for visiting Jerusalem as pilgrims.

 

Father Rewis Morkos, agent of the Coptic Orthodox Church, said that the Holy Synod had issued a decision to ban travel to Jerusalem since the days of Pope Shenouda III.
