Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has appointed Engineer Hani Azer adviser to the Prime Minister for transportation, communications and tunnels.
Hani Azer Helmy is an Egyptian engineer who supervised the construction of the German train station “Berlin Hauptbahnhof”. He was honored by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on May 26, 2006, and former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on October 1, 2006.
It’s worth mentioning that Azer refused to receive any wages or allowances for the job.
