The Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church holds special meeting Thursday chaired by Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, in which it casts vote on the new regulation of electing the Patriarch.
Nomination Committee of the Papal election headed by Abba Pachomious, former acting Patriarch, has prepared a draft of the new regulation on which the Holy Synod is going to vote.
The results of the vote is going to be announced in press conference held later at the media center of the Coptic Orthodox Church .
