Ahly's injury list has increased as a trio of key players sustained minor ailments during their 1-0 win over Ismaily in the 1st matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.
Right back Bassem Ali is confirmed to miss the coming game against Arab contracts in the second matchday of the Egyptian Premier league on Thursday.
"Bassem Ali will undergo scans on his foot on Sunday to define the seriousness of his injury he sustained during the Ismaily clash," Ahly doctor Khaled Mahmoud told the club's official website after the game.
He left the game against Ismaily after only 12 minutes from the start after sustaining a muscle injury.
"Striker Amr Gamal sustained a head knock during the Ismaily game but won't prevent him from participating in today's regular trainings," Mahmoud added.
"Attacking midfielder Amr El-Sulaya also suffered from muscle fatigue but it won't affect his participation in trainings."
Ahly gave newly-appointed manager Hossam El-Badry a winning start after beating bitter rivals Ismaily 1-0 in the Egyptian league opening week at Cairo's Petrosport Stadium on Saturday.
The sole goal of the game was scored by midfielder Abdallah El-Said in the 78th minute to give defending champions Ahly their first three points of the campaign.
