Sundowns Resume Training On Saturday
Mamelodi Sundowns are set to resume full preseason training on Saturday, July 23, while gearing up for their next CAF Champions League encounter. This after returning home from Egypt in high spirits.

Pitso Mosimane’s side moved to the top of their group standing in the CAF competition, when they jetted off to Northern Africa on Sunday to claim a 2-1 victory over Zamalek with Khama Billiat netting the winner for the Tshwane giants.

Masandawana will welcome the Egyptians to Mzansi in the second leg, with the game scheduled to take place on Wednesday July 27, at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The Brazilians have taken a five day break from training in order to recuperate after a hard fought victory at the Petro Sport Stadium in Cairo.

However, as Mosimane’s side look to go in with a full force in the second leg, Masandawana will be without the attacking threat of Keagan Dolly on the left flank, as he will be jetting off with Owen Da Gama’s U23 squad for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.

As the 2016/17 PSL season draws closer, Sundowns will look to have a fully bolstered squad ahead of their title defending season, with the announcement of Sibusiso Vilakazi set to be made this week.
