Copts in Nag Rizk, Suhag, complained they are not allowed to pray in the village since 1965 because of the fanatics who threaten and shoot them every now and then.
Copts have tried to get the due permits to build a church but they couldn’t. One of them even donated to build a mosque in order to be allowed to build a church in return, but he could only build a mosque!
Then, the Copts had to pray in their houses, but the houses were ruined and had to be reconstructed. Yet, the fanatics refused to allow them and even shot the workers.
Now, more than 3000 Copts are not allowed to pray with terrorism of the fanatics and collusion of the police.
It’s worth mentioning that a man called Sheikh Abdu, belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood, had organized many demonstrations in the village after the dispersal of Rabaa Adawia and Nahda sit-ins. He has been inciting against the Copts and even was injured during an attack against them.
