Governor of Sharkia refused to name a school after martyr Kyrolos Halim, Coptic soldier who died in a terrorist attack in Karm Qawadis. The governor said Kyrolos is a mere soldier that doesn’t deserve such honor!
The governor had organized a honoring ceremony to families of martyrs of the same accident without inviting family of martyr Kyrolos.
It’s worth mentioning that the governor had named a school after Ahmed Said Ibrahim, but broke his promise to name a school after the Coptic martyr.
