His Eminence Bishop Makarios of Minya and Abu Qurqas held the monthly meeting for priests, through video conference in which they discussed alternative service methods under the current circumstances. The Coptic Orthodox Church announced that Bishop Tadros of Port Said and the Papal deputy in the Archdiocese of Sydney will visit Australia on May 6 in a pastoral care visits. He added that the monastery will be closed before visitors and will be reopened on Tuesday after the funeral is held

Bishop Makarios of Minya ordained 57 new deacons at church of St. Mina and Pope Cyril in Nazlet Ebid village, Minya. Two children were also baptized and the holy vessels of the church were inaugurated during the Holy Mass.
