Bishop Raphael, general secretary of the Holy Synod, said that the Coptic Orthodox Church will not mobilize its people for the demonstration of next Friday.
He added that some lawyer said the Church is going to mobilize its people which is wrong.
Raphael said the Church has no certain lawyer or spokesperson. Thus, nobody should talk on behalf of it.
He said that Pope Tawadros II has always stressed that the Church has nothing to do with politics.
