Egyptian Media
I feel disgusted when I read some of the Egyptian newspapers especially the ones owned by the government. What I hate most is the repetitive lying and distorting of truth. The stupid liars keep blaming the non-stopping attacks and murdering of Christians in Egypt on whom. You guess? They blame it on Christians. The bad news for you guys we do not buy that. You could sell that to the foreign media sometimes but not to us especially people living in Minya, Alexandria, Assuit, Sohag, Beni Swaif and Cairo where some of the most horrendous attacks happened in the past 4 decades. I really miss Abdel Naser’s days now. Abdel Nasr was at least tough on the Islamic terrorism. His problem was with the Saudi regime who managed with the help of Sadat to get rid of him. The Saudi regime funded the Egyptian terror groups and helped radicalising the whole country. Thanks to the Gulf petrol money, the Egyptian Muslim terrorist ideology the world is no longer a safe place. More wars and conflicts will arise as long as the world leaders are oblivious and keep turning a blind eye to the Islamic fundamentalism. The Islamic regime in Egypt pretends to be secular to secure loans and funds from the Western countries. It also plays the role of peace broker between Palestinians and the Israelis only to keep the gravy train of American aids running for ever. The political Western correctness has made it difficult for Western powers to intervene to stop human rights violations against the Christians living in the predominantly Muslim Middle East countries. When a Muslim is killed in the West which is a very rare occasion, all the Muslim media go mad and keep talking about double standards. When massacres are committed against Christians in Egypt or elsewhere in Iraq or the Sudan they do not want to know. The alliance of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and well established criminals in Egypt was the reason why Copts were killed on Christmas Eve in Qena-Naja Hamadi. If you follow what has been reported in the Egyptian Media, you will be surprised, they find excuses for the criminals trying to vindicate them before anyone is arrested. They report that it has been committed as retaliation for some Christian man raping a Muslim woman in another town. The last attack and hub hazard killing of Christians is the 3rd attack at least so far. Most Christian homes, shops, projects and cars have been attacked in at least 5 towns in the last few weeks all attributed to the same retaliation story. The government condones violence against Christians by not protecting the armless Christians and leaving them to face the wrath of the Egyptian most notorious Muslim criminals and terrorists. The media does play a horrendous role in creating a negative and hostile environment for Christians. The most sacred Christians symbols get offended on daily basis in a conservative country like Egypt where Muslims will never tolerate any offence to their Islamic values. Demonstrations in Egypt went on  and on for months and months following the publication of Muhammad’s Danish Cartoons and following the death of Marwa Alshrbeny in Germany who was anointed as the Hijab Martyr. The Egyptian Christians had nothing to do with either incidents but both of them were followed by attacks on Christians and churches in Egypt. The regime continues to play fool and denies or plays down any discrimination against the Egyptian Christians. The Copts in Egypt suffer on daily basis humiliation and discrimination which has escalated to the level of apartheid in the last few decades. Christians are no longer employed to fill in governmental posts for the last few years. Christians are denied high ranking jobs in the army, police, judiciary, intelligence. In fact in some sectors Christians never exist like State Security, Intelligence or presidential guards. Well paid jobs in Petrol industry, electricity or local authorities are not open to Christians. So what Christians have open is only the private sector which comes at high price with the high level of corruption in the country, bribes have to be paid all the time to the corrupt Muslim officials. Following most attacks Christians are left with destroyed businesses and ruined livelihoods and homes. When Christians start speaking out and shouting for help, the government embarks on arresting  Coptic youth to force their families to accept compromises and stop  them from taking legal action. Even if some cases get to courts, no Muslim terrorist or criminal thug gets any sentence or a slap on the wrist. This is the reason why violence against Copts is ongoing for the last 40 years or more. If you kill a cat in a self-respecting country, you could get a jail sentence. In Egypt things are pretty much different, Christians have been killed in groups and as individuals and no one has ever been punished. The only way forward now is to take matters to the International Criminal Court. The government is not shying from slaying the Christian population slow but sure steps like what they did to the Pig population in Egypt, they are waiting for the right time to get rid of the whole Christian minority. The Christian population is the biggest in the Middle East and the world has a duty to help them to protect their culture and above all their lives. Please Move Now Before It Is Too Late. The church and clergy are in a very difficult position facing the fanatic regime, the fierce Islamic terrorist groups and a community ruled by thugs and criminals.
