Dr. Shawki Allam, Mufti of the Republic, denounced braking into courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque by dozens of Jewish settlers guarded by a number of Israeli army officers.
He added that attacking Al-Aqsa Mosque threatens the security of the region, especially with repeating such attacks. This should annoy 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide.
He called all civil society organizations and international bodies to intervene to stop such attacks.
