Mohamed Abu Hamed, member of the Egyptian House of Representatives, demanded military trial for offenders of the Copts in the increasing sectarian incidents.
This came after Copts in Baida village, America, were attacked by militants. Abu Hamed said that such crimes threaten the Egyptian national security. He also denounced the customary reconciliation sessions that waste rights of the Copts.
