Activists on social networks launched campaign to support Bishop Makarious, Bishop of Minya, after he was attacked for refusing the customary reconciliation sessions that force the Copts to give up their rights and encourage the oppressors to do their criminal acts. It’s worth mentioning that more than 20.000 followed the page on Facebook.
For his part, John Bushra, Secretary of Liberal Egyptians Party in Minya, said that the campaign aims to enforce the law and punish the oppressors.
