Adviser Monsif Suleiman, Legal Advisor to the Coptic Orthodox Church, said that there is no text in the Gospel that contrary to Islamic law on inheritance.
He added that this is the reason the inheritance was not included in the personal status law of the Copts.
The Copts accept the Islamic law in this regard since Egypt is a Muslim-majority country.
