Kamal Zakher Moussa, founder of the secular Coptic trend, said that the new Personal Status Law for non-Muslims that was drafted by Coptic Churches shows the interest of churches to protect Christian families.
He added that articles of the new law shows that churches have now wider ideas about marriage to avoid leading a spouse to perish.
