Egyptian newspapers said that several Copts won the Parliamentary elections in the 2015 as 16 Copts won during the first phase of the elections.
It’s worth mentioning that 57 Copts were nominated in the elections of 1995, but none of them won, while there were only 11 Coptic MP in 2011.
