General Mohammed Sadiq Helbawi, Minya security director, said that four Copts were kidnapped in Minya.Helbawi added that four armed men attacked a group of Copts who were riding a taxi returning from Virgin Mariam celebrations in Samalout.
The gang stopped them and enforced the passengers to get out of the taxi.
A man with his 8 years old child was released by the gang and four Copts were taken as hostages.
