Maj. Gen. Salah Ziada, governor of Minya, and Abba Pfnotios, Bishop of Samalot, laid today the basis of the Church of the martyrs in the village of Al Awr in Samalot, Minya province, during a great celebration.
The church will be built on an area of four thousand and 200 meters.
Several Muslim citizens decided to donate for the new church expressing their tolerance and love for their fellow Christians.
