President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi held a meeting with Dr. Mohammed Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Awqaf, to discuss ways to counter extremism and spread the right understanding of Islam. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minster.

In his speech at the funeral of Bishop Epiphanius, head of St. Makar monastery in Wadil Natrun, Pope Tawadros II said that the late bishop was very wise and modest. He added that we can learn a a lot from the late bishop, but above all we know that he trusted in the Lord and he was very simple.

Pope Tawadros II has delivered his weekly sermon this week from the church of St. Mina at the Monastery of St. Anthony in Austria. Pope talked about how to encourage our children to be holy. Pope said that we celebrate this month the feasts of several saints whose biography can teach and encourage us to be holy.

The name of the app is taken from the annual youth conferences organized by the diocese of Southern France.

Abba Pfnotius, Bishop of Samalut, opened a shrine for the belongings of martyrs of faith and homeland in Libya in their cathedral in Awar village. The shrine includes their bodies, clothes, handcuffs as well as their documents.

Young women of the secondary school attended "made in church" conference held for 4 days at St. Mark house in Alexandria. The idea of the conference is that the church made girls with high quality that they get certified with (ISO). The conference was attended by 450 young women from different Egyptian governorates.

Pope Tawadros II ordained 17 new priests for the ministry in Cairo and the united states of America. The ordination was performed at the monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadil Natroun where 16 priests were ordained for the ministry in Cairo and one priest for St. Mary Church in New Jersey.

In his weekly sermon from St. Bishoy Monastery in Wadil Natroun, Pope Tawadros II praised the power of prayers in the Coptic church. He said that prayer is the power of the church throughout 2000 years of prosecutions.
