Egypt s Competitions Committee are deciding between three countries -- Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan -- before selecting one to host the Egypt Super Cup game between Premier League champions Ahly and Egypt Cup runners-up Masry.
"The Egypt Super Cup game will be played on 12 January but we have not determined the country that will host the game," Egypt s Competitions Committee chief told a radio programme early on Monday.
"We are comparing between Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Jordan to determine the game s venue," he said.
Ahly won the double Egyptian Premier League and Egypt s Cup titles. Masry finished second in the cup competition.
Ahly are the Super Cup record holders with nine titles.
