Egyptian clubs Masry and Smouha were drawn Tuesday to play with Uganda's Kampala City Council (KCCA FC) and South Africa's Bidvest respectively in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup round of 32.
The draw, held at CAF's headquarters in Cairo, pitted the qualified teams from the Confederation Cup round of 32 against the losers from the CAF Champions League round of 32, with both sides will be competing for a place at the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
Masry reached the second round of the Confederation Cup after their game against Malian side Djoliba was cancelled on Friday when FIFA suspended the Malian Football Association, while Smouha booked their place after beating Ulinzi Stars of Kenya 4-3 on aggregate on Saturday.
South Africa's Bidvest were eliminated from the Champions League after losing 1-0 on aggregate to Egypt's Ahly, while Uganda's KCCA FC left the tournament after the 3-2 on aggregate loss to holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.
The first leg matches of the second round of the Confederation Cup round of 32 will take place from 7 to 9 April, and the return leg will be played from 14 to 16 April.
