Health Committee of the Parliament member Mostafa Abu Zeid criticized absence of factories produce baby formula, after the price of one imported formula can reached 100 EGP, Youm7 reported on Thursday.
He saw that there is a need to fix the price of formula cans to control the prices. Egypt sees shortage in baby formula since 2015.
The parliamentarian said that a national factory for baby formula will be established to ease the crisis.
