Cardiologist Ahmed el-Gendy, who works at Magdi Yaqoub Foundation, said that approximately 120 to 130 thousand Egyptians develop heart disease annually, Youm7 reported.
He said that some 20 to 25 thousand children are born with heart disease every year, in statements to Youm7.
