Egypt's average life expectancy is 71.5 years old according to CAPMAS' latest published survey

 Egyptians spend 29.5 years sleeping and 6.5 years working throughout their lifetimes, according to Egypt's Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

According to the latest survey published by CAPMAS, Egyptians spend 5.6 years watching television, 3.5 years eating and drinking and three years on education.

The average life expectancy in Egypt is 71.5 years old according to the survey.  
 
The survey concluded that Egyptians "spend 1.4 years taking care of the elderly and 3.1 years in movements."
 
Egyptians also spend two years of their lifetime taking part in religious activities and 5.9 years on social visits and talking on the phone.
 
The CAPMAS survey also revealed that Egyptians spend six months on sport activities, attending concerts and visiting museums.
 
CAPMAS surveyed 3480 families in six governorates in Egypt to represent provinces in Cairo, the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt.
 
Egypt’s border governorates were excluded from the survey.
 
The governorates included in the survey were Cairo, Alexandria, Gharbiya, Daqahliya, Minya and Sohag.
