Gen. Salah Ziada, governor of Minya, held a meeting with Muslims and Copts of Awr village in Samalut in the presence of clergy from the village.
Fanatics have attacked houses of the Copts after they demanded building a church.
The Muslims have demanded the release of 7 young people who were arrested yesterday for their involvement in the attack on the Copts.
