Militants kidnap passenger microbus in Arish

A passenger microbus was forced by militants to take the road to southeast Arish city in the Sinai Peninsula Tuesday afternoon, according to eyewitnesses. The microbus was followed by a four-wheel-drive vehicle carrying militants, Youm7 reported. A military source told Youm7 that the militants released the passengers near Be’r el-Hafn district in south Arish and stole the microbus. The source added that the released passengers were workers and technicians going to repair the gas pipeline to Jordan. A security source said a search campaign on Arish road had begun in an attempt to apprehend the militants, Youm7 reported.
