Egypt’s finance ministry has allocated 15 million Egyptian pounds to the high elections committee as a first step for preparations of the upcoming presidential elections, Al-Mal newspaper said.
The elections are expected to take place in the first half of the ongoing year.
The elections committee discussed its budget with the finance ministry after interim President Adli Mansour announced the new roadmap last week.
