Ismaily Czech coach Frantisek Straka has said he considers Wednesday's game against Ahly "different," promising a positive result against the title holders.
"We will be playing the league leaders and this is something else. We have to do our best to deliver a good performance," The 58-year-old, who replaced Ashraf Khedr in late December, told an Egyptian television programme Sunday.
Ismaily, who have faced troubles lately, are currently ninth in the league with 22 points -- 23 fewer than Ahly.
"I promise the Ismaily fans we will get positive results against Ahly," Straka added.
Ismaily waved goodbye to the Egypt Cup in the round of 16 after after a loss to Alexandrian Smouha.
Ahly lost the Egypt Super Cup game against arch-rivals Zamalek on Friday.
