Pro-Muslim Brotherhood students in Asyut attempted to break into the administration building of Asyut University Monday, after protesting in front of the Faculty of Science, but were stopped by security.
The protesting students roamed the streets of the university until they settled in front of the administration building but security personnel prevented them from breaking in.
Some students, who preferred to remain anonymous, said two people in a private car distributed publications to the students with “All of us will participate on January 25” written next to the four-fingered Rabaa al-Adaweya sign.
The publications called on people to join the protests on January 25 to recover the gains of the revolution.
Pro-Brotherhood students broke into the administration building of Asyut University on Sunday by making their way to the first floor through the parking lot.
